in god we trust ...

Follow me children
Through the centurial sermon

Jesus left his legacy
To an allegory of desire
A woman sitting by the quay
Started a warm fire
The fire burnt the shore
Ten thousand men
Aboard a ship of dreams
Fancied the same whore

Space monkeys in a rocket
Listen to rattle and hum
In your hollow pockets

All men are brothers
Brothers strive for freedom
Paper guns and copper bombs
Talk beyond reason
Perched on shoulders of prudence
Three monkeys preached peace
The shoulders stooped under the burden
Of vacuous promises
from the untamed docile beasts

Space monkeys in a rocket
Listen to rattle and hum
In your hollow pockets

Hello Mr. Lincoln
This is senor grant
I am worth a fifty
You are a skilled tart
I can buy a jungle
And you can tame those beasts
Let's lie to the animals
Play a little game of deceit

Space monkeys in a rocket
Listen to rattle and hum
In your hollow pockets

Cities are getting cleaner
Tamed animals, the sweepers
Desires are aroused
The warm fire has doused
Cheer leaders and presidents
Mock the nature's immaculate elements
The swans still love the tides
Put out the sun
I like the plastic lights
